Fullstack Software Engineer Team Lead – Growth Product

About the role

Alan is building the new standard in prevention insurance and needs a technical leader to drive the growth‑focused product experience. As a Fullstack Software Engineer Team Lead you will own high‑impact initiatives that turn visitors into members across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise alan.com, the high‑traffic website that converts millions of visitors into members.
• Develop and scale the marketing engine that powers acquisition channels such as paid media, SEO and emerging LLM‑driven campaigns.
• Design and implement seamless self‑serve conversion flows from discovery and quoting to final sign‑up.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives including partnership integrations, accountant tools, referral systems and brand campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Research and Product teams (Engineering, Data, PM, Design) to align technical delivery with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a small engineering crew (4‑8 members) and taking ownership of its output.
• Ability to balance technical contribution (≈40% of time) with people‑management and project coordination.
• Strong product mindset, focusing on measurable impact and continuous optimisation.
