Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a long‑term digital transformation programme. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative technology team responsible for modernising internal and external digital platforms, delivering secure, high‑performance web applications and supporting critical business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate the existing web platform to a modern, headless Content Management System.
• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications using both frontend and backend technologies.
• Conduct code reviews focusing on performance, scalability, maintainability and security.
• Improve application performance through caching, database optimisation and CDN/WAF enhancements.
• Enhance monitoring, logging and alerting with cloud‑native observability tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and cloud deployments.
• Participate in incident, change and service management activities and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commercial experience developing backend services.

Required skills

• Python with FastAPI.
• React (Next.js experience is a plus).
• Node.js, preferably with NestJS.
• Experience with headless CMS solutions, preferably using TypeScript.
• Cloud deployment experience and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Sitecore or Sitecore AI is an advantage.
