Full Stack Developer – TypeScript & Node.js (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Full Stack Developer to join a fast‑growing European tech scale‑up in Brussels. The role is backend‑focused but also involves building frontend features, working in a hybrid setting with 2‑3 days remote per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own PostgreSQL data models, write optimized queries and manage database architecture.
• Implement and iterate on UI components with React and Next.js.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across the stack and propose improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation and influence architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL schema design and query optimisation.
• Comfortable working with React or Next.js.
• Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps practices such as CI/CD and Docker.
• Fluent in English or French and a startup mindset.
