Front End Software Engineer – Ghent

About the role

As a Front End Software Engineer you will join Esko’s Cloud Graphics Team to develop and maintain the Cloud Viewer platform, a core component of the company’s cloud solutions for packaging and label design. The role is based in Ghent, Belgium and follows a hybrid working model, allowing you to work onsite two days a week and remotely the rest of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain front‑end functionality for the Cloud Viewer platform.
• Collaborate with UX Engineers, developers, QA engineers and product stakeholders to deliver new features and improve user experience.
• Participate in daily Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
• Write clean, maintainable, high‑quality code and engage in peer code reviews.
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting customers.
• Work with cross‑functional engineering teams to design scalable cloud solutions.
• Experiment with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for future product capabilities.
