Front-End Developer (Freelance) – 20‑Month Contract in Charleroi

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Front‑End Developer to join a high‑impact team in Charleroi for a 20‑month mission. The role focuses on building secure, user‑centric digital platforms for a financial services client, ensuring top‑level data protection and an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and support front‑end solutions using C# .NET, React, Next.js and REST APIs.
• Lead and contribute to projects across core business, support, communication, services and governance.
• Participate in the design and implementation of micro‑services‑oriented architectures.
• Drive CI/CD and DevOps practices, including unit testing.
• Provide technical analysis and tech‑lead level support to the team.
• Create prototypes, visual mockups and UI/UX‑focused interfaces.
• Architect and optimise front‑end project structures while maintaining rigorous documentation, code quality and security.
• Handle sensitive financial production data with strict security awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Proven track record in front‑end development with a strong focus on security, quality and documentation.
