Front Desk & Guest Services Associate

About the role

The Front Desk & Guest Services Associate is the first point of contact for guests, handling registration, check‑out and telephone operations while delivering a highly personalized experience. You will act as an ambassador for the hotel, creating memorable moments that encourage guests to return.

Key responsibilities

• Manage confident, professional check‑in and check‑out processes for all guests.
• Respond to guest inquiries and issues with empathy and efficiency.
• Review arrivals and departures, noting special requests and ensuring accurate billing.
• Answer all phone calls promptly, providing complete and accurate information.
• Complete shift checklists (AM, PM, Overnight) and balance the shift bank.
• Pre‑assign rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests and special packages.
• Follow key‑control policies and produce required departmental reports.
• Handle lost & found items and submit appropriate reports.
• Monitor room availability and verify credit limits throughout the day.
• Communicate with Sales, Housekeeping, In‑Room Dining, Loss Prevention and other departments.
• Stay knowledgeable about local attractions, restaurants and transportation options.
