Freelance Solution Designer – .NET / C# / Azure

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Freelance Solution Designer to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions for a client in the Brussels region. The role combines software development expertise with architecture skills and requires close collaboration with developers and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional needs and existing applications to define the optimal technical approach.
• Design solution architecture, technical components, and data flows.
• Assess impact on current systems and integrations.
• Document design decisions, API specifications, and architecture diagrams.
• Support developers during implementation and review solutions for improvements.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, architects, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Solution Designer, Application Architect, Software Architect, Technical Lead or similar.
• Proven track record designing software solutions, APIs, and cloud‑based distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (C2) and English (C1).
• Available for at least two onsite days per week in Brussels.
