Freelance Project Coordinator (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Project Coordinator to support international construction projects for a leading industrial steel construction company operating in Belgium. The role offers a pathway to a long‑term Project Management position and involves close collaboration with site teams, factories, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in daily coordination of multiple construction projects.
• Monitor project schedules, timelines, and deliverables, flagging risks or delays early.
• Serve as the liaison between internal teams, factories, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Participate in site meetings, provide regular status updates, and support documentation and reporting.
• Help transition engineering designs into on‑site execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in project coordination or management within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with quick‑thinking problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
