Freelance Dutch/Flemish Instructor – Brussels

About the role

Berlitz Belgium is seeking freelance instructors to teach Dutch and Flemish to private and corporate learners in Brussels. Lessons are delivered face‑to‑face at the Berlitz centre on Cantersteen 47 and at client sites, primarily on intensive schedules of 4‑6 hours per week from Monday to Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, learner‑centered Dutch/Flemish instruction using the Berlitz Method.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual student goals and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Teach intensive courses on‑site for private and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with Berlitz administrative staff to ensure smooth class logistics.

Required profile

• C2‑level proficiency in Dutch/Flemish.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational abilities.
• Friendly, sociable, patient and responsive to group needs.
• Freelance status or willingness to register through SMART.
• Availability for intensive teaching days, typically Monday‑Thursday.
