Founding Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a founding Full‑Stack Engineer to join Caven, a startup building conversational intelligence infrastructure for regulated firms in Europe. You will work directly with the founders to turn customer problems into production‑ready software, shaping product direction, architecture and security from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the TypeScript stack across the Electron desktop app, React/Vite web frontend, Expo/React Native mobile app and Express/Node.js backend.
• Take features from idea through prototype to production, driven by user feedback.
• Build integrations with the tools customers already use and develop the API/MCP layer.
• Design and implement secure systems for handling sensitive conversational data.
• Contribute to product strategy, architecture decisions, engineering practices and developer tooling.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a fast‑moving early‑stage environment.
• Enjoys solving ambiguous problems and making technical trade‑offs.
• Willing to collaborate closely with founders and help define the engineering culture.
