Financial Controller – Private Equity – Brussels

About the role

You will join a fast‑growing pan‑European private equity firm based in Brussels as a Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO and Head of Control & Finance. You will own the end‑to‑end consolidation and reporting process for the group and its local entities.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the consolidation of the group, ensuring figures are accurate, compliant and aligned with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyse the financial statements of the group and its subsidiaries, delivering reliable information for management decisions.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, helping the business anticipate results.
• Collaborate with local accountants, external auditors, banks, tax advisors and legal counterparts to streamline reporting and audit processes.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement and efficiency opportunities across the finance team.
• Act as the technical backbone and reference point for all matters related to consolidation and reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of finance experience, preferably gained at a Big 4 audit firm.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
