Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an analytical Finance professional to join a leading automotive company in Puurs. As a Financial Controller you will support regional management by analysing results, monitoring risks and driving process improvements that enhance profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial results and discuss findings with regional management.
• Optimise processes related to ongoing operations and gross‑margin performance.
• Develop initiatives to improve profitability.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date SAP structure and deliver accurate financial forecasts.
• Prepare budgets using SAP BPC tools.
• Represent the organisation in local management meetings.
• Ensure compliance with financial processes and support audit activities.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and handle ad‑hoc financial tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Initial experience in finance (e.g., consultant or Financial Controller).
• Experience with audits is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team‑player, accurate, deadline‑oriented and proactive.
