Financial Controller – Finance Team

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established, growing company in Brussels to strengthen its Finance team. As a Financial Controller you will gain strong exposure to business operations, reporting, and financial analysis in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and performance indicators.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and variances.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations and management teams.
• Participate in financial planning and strategic analysis.
• Improve internal reporting processes and financial controls.
• Assist with audits and compliance‑related matters.
• Provide actionable insights to support business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 4 to 10 years of experience in controlling, audit or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Trilingual proficiency in French, Dutch and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools.
