Financial Controller – Automotive Sector

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to join a market‑leading automotive player in Puurs. In this versatile role you will evaluate financial performance, mitigate risks and partner with management to streamline and optimise business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the SAP structure and related reporting tools.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organisation.
• Collaborate with senior management to improve and optimise business processes.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Solid foundational experience in finance, such as financial consultancy, auditing or controlling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Detail‑oriented team player who thrives under tight deadlines and a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience with SAP systems, preferably SAP BPC.
• Understanding of audit procedures.
