Finance Manager

About the role

As the Finance Manager at OTIV, you will be the financial backbone of the company’s day‑to‑day operations, overseeing reporting, cash‑flow visibility and cost discipline. You will work closely with the CFO and cross‑functional teams to translate financial data into strategic insights that support the scaling of autonomous rail solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports with variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Build and maintain project‑level financial reporting and cost tracking.
• Maintain a rolling cash‑flow forecast, proactively flagging risks and opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly re‑forecasting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and banking partners.
• Implement and continuously improve financial processes, systems and internal controls, including AI‑driven tools.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in operational or management finance.
• Strong command of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ODOO.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
