Finance Assistant – Billing

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant – Billing to join Clinigen’s Belgian operations. Working in a supportive, hybrid environment, you will ensure accurate invoicing and maintain strong client relationships while supporting the finance team’s cash collection and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare client and intra‑company invoices, pre‑payment requests and related documentation.
• Upload invoices into the finance system and perform reconciliations.
• Support cash collection, bank reconciliation and balance‑sheet reconciliation related to billing.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information needed for billing.
• Maintain and update billing work instructions.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting, assist with special projects and handle other finance‑department tasks.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Exposure to finance or accounting principles through work experience or academic study.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Ability to handle confidential financial data responsibly.
• Collaborative yet independent working style with strong customer‑service orientation.
• High accuracy, efficiency and accountability.
