F&B Service Waiter - Banquet & Events

About the role

Holiday Inn Brussels Airport is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on F&B service colleague to join its Food & Beverage team. The role covers conferences, meetings, private events and banquets, ensuring high standards of service and smooth coordination between the kitchen, sales and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of service during conferences, meetings, private events and banquets
• Set up events according to guest requirements and hotel standards
• Keep communication smooth between the kitchen, sales and operational departments
• Welcome guests and make sure they are satisfied throughout the event
• Handle guest requests and resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation and compliance with HACCP and safety procedures
• Make sure all function rooms are properly prepared and maintained before, during and after events

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in banqueting or events
• Organised, guest-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible on working hours, including evenings and weekends
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Fluent English; French and/or Dutch are a strong advantage

Required skills

• Good knowledge of HACCP procedures
• Event setup and service coordination
