Facilities Technician 1

About the role

The Facilities Technician supports the Maintenance Shift Leader in daily maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth operation of building facilities and production equipment in a logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sorters, ASRS, and other machinery.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checklists and keep accurate records.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with external subcontractors.
• Manage spare‑part inventory, including cycle counts and quantity adjustments.
• Interact with Help Desk support of material‑handling providers for issue resolution.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Fluent in French with good English communication skills.
• Technical mindset with flexibility, reliability and strong teamwork orientation.
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays, night shifts and lift up to 35 kg.

Required skills

• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• General low‑voltage panel knowledge (TGBT).
• Knowledge of hydraulics, automation and conveying systems.
• Siemens S7 programming basics.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic technologies and ability to read related drawings.
