Estimating Coordinator (Tender Management)

About the role

The Estimating Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire tender process, from receiving documentation to submitting the final offer. The role ensures technical, economic, and financial solutions are aligned with project requirements and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and analyse customer requirements.
• Assess technical validity, propose variants, and evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Control plans, conduct site measurements, calculate volumes and other quantities.
• Consult suppliers and subcontractors to obtain optimal services and pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and set sales prices in collaboration with management.
• Draft the technical file for tender responses, including briefs and schedules.
• Maintain sales relationship with the client throughout the tendering phase.
• Organise offer submission ensuring compliance with deadlines and formal requirements.
• Coordinate with support services (technical, legal, insurance) and operations before, during and after the project.
• Potentially supervise price‑study technicians and technical research leads.

Required profile

• Ability to analyse tender documents and customer requests.
• Strong understanding of technical validation, risk assessment and variant proposal.
• Experience in measuring sites, calculating volumes and preparing cost details.
• Capability to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal support services.
• Leadership potential to supervise junior estimators or technical staff.
