Enterprise Architect – TOGAF & Azure

About the role

We are seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead the definition and governance of enterprise‑wide business and technology architecture for a large organization based in Brussels. The role bridges business strategy and technology execution, driving modernization and digital transformation across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design target‑state architectures and road‑maps for business, application, data and technology layers.
• Define logical, technical and physical architecture models and ensure they align with strategic objectives.
• Evaluate and select technology platforms, set standards, patterns and governance frameworks for Azure, hybrid and traditional data‑center environments.
• Lead architecture reviews, impact assessments and governance discussions with business leaders, delivery teams and offshore partners.
• Guide the simplification and rationalisation of complex IT landscapes, promoting standardisation and modernisation.

Required profile

• 15‑25 years of experience in enterprise architecture and large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders across business, delivery, infrastructure and engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and/or French.

Required skills

• TOGAF certification.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience designing and governing traditional data‑center architectures.
• Knowledge of architecture governance, patterns and principles.
