Engineering Graduate Program – Rotational Engineering Role

About the role

Join Solvay’s Engineering Graduate Program, a three‑year rotational scheme designed for recent graduates in chemical or mechanical engineering. You will rotate through different business units, functions and locations, gaining hands‑on experience in production, automation and digital transformation while being supported by mentors.

Key responsibilities

• Run and optimise production capabilities and overall site operations.
• Manage projects related to factory revamping, automation and manufacturing‑excellence initiatives.
• Drive digital transformation through data and process control, working with IIOT switches, vibration sensors and conductivity meters.
• Develop industrial software solutions and support mechatronic systems.
• Promote sustainability, energy transition and safety in collaboration with specialised teams.
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose organisational enhancements.
• Take ownership of personal development with mentor guidance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• Relevant first experience in chemical or manufacturing industries.
• Digital background is a plus; strong electromechanical knowledge and affinity are required.
• Leadership and project‑management capabilities.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Curiosity, initiative, achievement drive and team spirit.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent contract with hybrid and on‑site work arrangements.
