End User Computing L1 Support Engineer – Onsite (Brussels)

About the role

We are looking for an End User Computing (EUC) L1 Support Engineer to provide onsite desktop and end‑user support for an enterprise client in Brussels. This freelance back‑fill assignment covers periods when the permanent onsite engineer is unavailable, ensuring continuous IT service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, docking stations and mobile devices.
• Act as back‑fill for the permanent engineer during leave, vacation, sickness or off‑days.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues and perform device imaging, configuration and installation.
• Manage incidents and service requests within SLA timelines using ticketing tools.
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as password resets and account unlocks.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and escalation groups when needed.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, asset records and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop, deskside and EUC L1 support within an enterprise environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently onsite and follow ITIL‑based processes.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is a plus.
