Domain Lead - Business Continuity

About the role

The Domain Lead – Business Continuity is responsible for safeguarding Ypto and the SNCB ICT environment against major disruptions. This role ensures that both organisations can maintain critical operations during pandemics, natural disasters, cyber‑attacks or data‑centre failures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and continuously improve a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for Ypto.
• Perform Business Impact Assessments to prioritise critical functions and define recovery objectives.
• Design and maintain an IT Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy for SNCB and its subsidiaries, including site selection and technology choices.
• Lead crisis‑management planning and coordinate regular drills, tabletop exercises and full‑scale simulations.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements related to security and continuity.
• Produce regular documentation and reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in IT disaster recovery planning.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• Certificates such as BCM Practitioner are a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (C2) and English (C1); second language at B2 level.
