Director of Security Assurance & Trust

About the role

Collibra is hiring a Director of Security Assurance & Trust for its Field Security team, which bridges the Field teams and customers and keeps customer trust as a top priority. The role works with Sales, Product and Engineering to shape security initiatives that add business value. It is a hybrid position based in the Brussels office, with at least two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to Sales, combining deep cybersecurity expertise with external engagement with customers, prospects and regulators.
• Communicate the security narrative and insights so they can help drive sales.
• Represent Collibra's security posture, roadmap and philosophy publicly.
• Work with internal business, product and functional leadership to turn customer requirements and regulations into clear security objectives.
• Analyze customer needs from a product technical and security perspective to allocate Field Security resources effectively.
• Handle complex, strategically important situations by building and running project plans, specifications and schedules.
• Evaluate the security organization's ability to build scalable, resilient controls and engage all stakeholders in security decisions.

Required profile

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in information security, field security or a customer-facing technical leadership role.
• Proven track record consulting with senior leadership and enterprise customers on business-critical security issues.
• Demonstrated experience setting organizational standards and managing complex projects in a fast-changing environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, EU AI Act and DORA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to internal and external stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of customer business cases, physical infrastructure and information assurance.
