Director of Pricing – Cross Border

About the role

The Director of Pricing – Cross Border leads the regional pricing function for bpost across Eurasia, shaping the pricing strategy for all cross‑border parcels and international mail. Reporting to the Executive Committee, the role focuses on maximizing EBIT while supporting sustainable growth aligned with the group’s strategic plans.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement end‑to‑end pricing strategies for B2B and B2C segments across three customer tiers.
• Set price rates and policies based on market benchmarks, internal cost structures, and regulatory constraints.
• Develop new pricing and rate models to stay competitive and prepare decision files for the Pricing Board.
• Provide comprehensive pricing insights, monitor performance, and manage KPIs at customer, product, and regional levels.
• Analyze profitability drivers, identify improvement opportunities, and drive margin‑enhancing initiatives.
• Lead a dedicated pricing team, translating business strategy into actionable pricing actions.
• Own and continuously optimise the end‑to‑end pricing process.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience in pricing strategy within logistics, transport or related sectors.
• Strategic thinker capable of partnering with senior management across multiple regions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving profitability and EBIT growth.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide cross‑functional teams.
