Director, Analytics and Business Insights APEMEA

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Analytics and Business Insights (ABI) for the APEMEA region. The role will lead the identification of analytics needs, design and delivery of ABI capabilities, and act as a strategic liaison between European and APEMEA stakeholders. Reporting to the VP of ABI APEMEA, the Director will influence regional strategy, drive data‑driven decision‑making, and champion best practices across the analytics community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and formulate analytics opportunities that improve business performance across APEMEA.
• Design, develop, and deploy new ABI capabilities in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with regional and European priorities.
• Lead the European analytics community, overseeing the ABI pipeline, priorities, and maintenance.
• Participate in full‑cycle ABI projects from ideation through implementation, rollout, and change management.
• Collaborate with Mastercard’s global data and analytics teams and subject‑matter experts.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading analytics or business‑insight functions at a senior level.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working in a multinational, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of analytics methodology and business‑insight frameworks.
• Experience with data‑driven solution design and implementation.
• Familiarity with KPI development and strategic insight generation.
