Digital Media Manager and Analyst

About the role

The Digital Media Manager and Analyst will lead the planning, execution and assessment of digital communication campaigns for Allied Command Operations (ACO). Reporting to the Director of J10 Strategic Communications, the role ensures that web and social media outputs align with NATO branding, policy and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an ACO digital media strategy and campaign framework in line with J10 StratCom goals.
• Collect, analyse and interpret engagement data across web and social platforms, providing quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Produce actionable reports for senior leadership, combining analytics with narrative context and recommendations.
• Define, monitor and refine digital Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in coordination with Information Environment Assessment staff.
• Oversee digital‑first multimedia production, ensuring content meets platform specifications, branding standards and rapid‑turnaround timelines.
• Engage with audiences on ACO social media channels, synchronising responses with Joint Force Commands and Component Commands.
• Develop, maintain and disseminate social media SOPs, tactics, techniques and procedures to enhance digital performance and resilience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing digital communications for large, multi‑national organisations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent understanding of NATO branding, security requirements and information‑environment considerations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across command structures and subordinate teams.
