Digital Identity Security Architect (with Technical Experience)

About the role

Devoteam, a consulting firm focused on digital transformation, is looking for a Digital Identity Security Architect who sees identity through the lens of a cybersecurity architect. This is a high-level technical role, not legal or compliance, with a strong focus on business interaction. You will be the technical point of contact for clients during pre-sales and discovery, bridging business risk and technical security by designing the "North Star" for clients' identity ecosystems, justifying technical investments and ensuring solutions are scalable and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Act as technical expert during the sales cycle: lead client workshops, define project scopes and present technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Design long-term technical roadmaps for AM, IGA and PAM that reduce threat and align with business goals.
• Lead the technical evaluation and selection of enterprise platforms (e.g. Ping Identity, Azure AD, CyberArk).
• Define technical standards for Conditional Access, Risk-Based Authentication and Micro-segmentation at the identity layer.
• Determine adoption of standards such as OIDC, SAML, FIDO2 and OAuth2.
• Translate business requirements into technical controls against credential stuffing, account takeovers and lateral movement.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a technical engineering field.
• 5+ years in Cybersecurity Strategy or IAM Architecture, with a background in technical implementation and pre-sales or client-facing advisory.
• Trilingual: excellent verbal and written English, Dutch and French.
• Ability to explain technical security concepts to C-level stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or IAM vendor Lead Architect are highly valued.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of identity protocols and how attackers exploit them, including Token Exchange and JIT Provisioning.
• Practical use of NIST 800-63 or ISO 27001 from a technical control perspective.
