DevOps Engineer – Platform & Automation

About the role

Gaming1 is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its IT team in Liège. You will treat the internal platform as a premium product, enabling development teams to ship code faster, safer, and with confidence across both retail and corporate environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evolve, and drive the roadmap of a secure, scalable, and resilient platform ecosystem.
• Create self‑service capabilities and automation to simplify developers’ daily workflows.
• Research, implement, and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions.
• Promote platform engineering best practices across the organization.
• Ensure systems meet security, availability, and compliance standards, especially for player safety.

Required profile

• Automation mindset – you script repetitive tasks.
• Strong Linux and container expertise, comfortable with shell operations.
• Ability to bridge operations and development concerns.
• Commitment to clean implementations, solid documentation, and resilient systems.
• English proficiency at B2+ level for clear technical communication.
