DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a remote‑first international team based in Belgium. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure and developer experience, building and improving the platforms that power globally distributed digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain internal services and tools using Go to automate deployments and support developer platforms.
• Build, maintain and optimise scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes‑based production and pre‑production environments.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions with Terraform and Ansible.
• Enhance monitoring, logging and alerting using Grafana, OpenSearch and related observability tools.
• Optimise staging and ephemeral environments for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and software delivery processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
• Proven track record of delivering automation solutions and improving platform reliability.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) development.
• Kubernetes administration.
• Terraform and Ansible.
• GitLab CI/CD (or comparable CI/CD tools).
• Linux system administration.
• Grafana, OpenSearch for observability.
