DevOps Cloud Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer at CloudSisters you will build and operate automated managed‑service platforms while directly supporting client environments. The role blends hands‑on development of CI/CD pipelines with day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high performance, reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps and AWS Code services.
• Enhance cloud services and optimise container orchestration using Azure AKS and Amazon EKS.
• Automate deployment, monitoring and scaling processes across AWS and Azure.
• Set up, configure and manage client environments with a focus on performance, reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain optimal system performance.
• Promote DevOps best practices across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and stay current with cloud and DevOps innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent DevOps experience.
• Proven experience in cloud DevOps roles.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work hybrid, attending the office about two days per week.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Container platforms: Azure AKS, Amazon EKS.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure services.
