About the role
HCLTech is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide both on‑site and remote assistance to end‑users in Belgium. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and application issues, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day local and remote desktop support via inbound calls and ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software and application problems.
- Document all steps taken in the ticketing system and ensure accurate knowledge transfer.
- Facilitate customer issue resolution and coordinate with supervisors and managers to maintain operational consistency across all shifts.
- Perform break‑fix interventions, fault analysis on Windows operating systems and related platforms, and apply approved solutions for the company’s application suite.
- Manage asset inventory and ensure proper configuration of desktops and laptops.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows desktop support.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
- Eligible to work in Belgium.
