Design Engineer – Digital Product Design

About the role

Donaldson is looking for a Design Engineer to join its Engineering team and help shape the future of digital product design. You will work with SolidWorks, DriveWorks and international colleagues to develop and maintain configurable product models on the Blueprint platform, a global engineering solution that automates configuration, quotation and 3D visualization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain configurable product models using SolidWorks and DriveWorks.
• Support the rollout and continuous improvement of the Blueprint digital engineering platform.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross‑functional teams to deliver automated design solutions across EMEA.
• Validate CAD models, drawings and generated documentation.
• Provide user support, create documentation and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Product Design or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design.
• Interest in engineering automation and digital engineering tools.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English.
