Design Engineer - Civil Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer specialized in civil engineering to join our team in Brussels. You will lead technical studies, coordinate draftsmen, and ensure that infrastructure projects meet client requirements and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct design and structural studies for bridges, viaducts, tunnels, support structures, geotechnical works, and technical buildings (feasibility, preliminary, detailed).
• Produce detailed drawings and integrate BIM models.
• Contribute to project scheduling and work phasing.
• Solve technical problems while balancing budget, timing, and feasibility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (environment, soil mechanics, hydraulics, signaling).
• Draft technical clauses for specifications, provide on‑site technical assistance, and report progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Master’s degree in Construction or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD tools.
• Proficiency in BIM tools.
