Demand & Supply Planner

About the role

Falk & Ross, a leading European textile wholesaler, is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to oversee product availability, inventory performance, and supply execution for a portfolio of brands and SKUs. This is a strategic, non‑transactional position that requires challenging forecasts, validating assumptions, and continuously improving inventory health.

Key responsibilities

• Review and challenge demand forecasts generated by the planning system and business stakeholders.
• Analyse historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions and customer data to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales, Procurement and Suppliers to understand demand drivers and manage product lifecycle (phase‑in/phase‑out).
• Monitor daily stock positions, identify potential shortages or overstocks and take corrective actions.
• Maintain target service levels, ensure high product availability and minimise excess or obsolete inventory.
• Contribute to the monthly S&OP process with insights on demand, supply constraints and inventory risks.
• Generate and manage purchase orders, validate quantities, timing and supplier constraints using Slim4.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to managing supply risks and opportunities.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams (Product Management, Sales, Procurement, Suppliers).
• Responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 10,000–12,000 style‑colour‑size SKUs.
