Demand & Supply Planner

About the role

Falk & Ross, a leading European textile wholesaler, is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to oversee product availability, inventory performance and supply execution for a portfolio of brands and SKUs. The role goes beyond transactional planning – you will challenge forecasts, validate assumptions and work closely with product management, sales, procurement and suppliers to ensure high service levels while keeping inventory healthy.

Key responsibilities

• Review and challenge demand forecasts generated by the planning system and business stakeholders, analysing historical sales, market trends, seasonality and promotions.
• Collaborate with product managers and sales teams to understand demand drivers, manage product lifecycle (phase‑in/phase‑out) and mitigate forecast risks.
• Monitor daily stock positions, identify potential shortages or excesses and take corrective actions to maintain target service levels.
• Analyse inventory performance, stock turns, excess and slow‑moving items, and contribute to the monthly S&OP process with insights and recommendations.
• Generate and manage purchase orders, validate quantities, timing and supplier constraints, and challenge replenishment proposals.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude in identifying supply risks and opportunities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, sales, procurement and supplier teams.
• Experience handling a large portfolio of 10,000–12,000 style‑colour‑size SKUs is preferred.
