Datacenter Technician – Electrical & HVAC Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Datacenter Technician to join a leading technology client in Ternat on a long‑term contract. The role involves maintaining the datacenter’s critical electrical, electromechanical and HVAC infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support power distribution, UPS systems, generators and backup power.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electromechanical installations.
• Inspect and maintain cooling, ventilation and HVAC systems, including building management and environmental monitoring.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and equipment failures, providing first‑line troubleshooting.
• Coordinate interventions with external suppliers and maintenance partners.
• Carry out rack‑and‑stack activities, equipment installation, cabling and patching.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized technical areas and follow all safety and escalation procedures.

Required profile

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electricity, electromechanics, industrial maintenance or HVAC.
• Hands‑on experience in technical installations or industrial environments.
• Ability to read technical plans, diagrams and documentation.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work shifts in a critical 24/7 environment.
• Safety‑conscious, responsible and able to work independently.
