Data Engineer AI

About the role

Enersee is building the data backbone for its AI‑driven energy efficiency platform. As a Data Engineer AI you will ensure clean, consistent, and scalable data flows while developing AI models that turn raw building data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large time‑series datasets (energy & water) to identify patterns and trends.
• Develop and implement advanced machine‑learning algorithms and models.
• Build new time‑series and metadata connectors as part of product development.
• Maintain and optimise existing data pipelines for quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot integration issues related to data quality, structure, or flow.
• Source and integrate new data streams into the platform.
• Collaborate with partners, integrators, and customers to launch integrations smoothly.
• Work closely with developers to refine UX and translate client needs into AI models.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering AI models and data pipelines in production.
• Practical mindset – turning theory into scalable solutions.
• Bias for action – proactive problem solving.
• Clear communication skills for bridging business and technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python programming, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and Flask.
• AI/ML and statistical modeling expertise.
• Deep understanding of time‑series data and metadata validation.
• Experience with large‑scale time‑series pipelines (IoT, energy monitoring).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
