Cybersecurity Engineer – Industrial / Railway Sector

About the role

Join Médiane Benelux’s Charleroi site as a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on industrial and railway applications. You will work closely with cross‑site teams to embed security into product design and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity risk analyses for OT and embedded systems.
• Define and refine security requirements for new products and solutions.
• Collaborate with software and hardware development teams in Villeurbanne and Bangalore to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Integrate and validate analysis and test reports from development sites.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support compliance of deliverables.
• For experienced candidates: create project‑level cybersecurity management plans, specify architectures, mentor engineering teams, and oversee test implementations.

Required profile

• First experience in industrial or IT cybersecurity; junior candidates are welcome if motivated and structured.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work across multiple locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross‑site collaboration.
• Willingness to adapt responsibilities as internal maturity grows.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EBIOS RM methodology.
• Familiarity with ISO 27005 standard.
• Understanding of IEC 62443 series for industrial security.
