Cyber Security Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day security activities of our IT Security team. This hands‑on position bridges IT operational groups and governance, ensuring that security policies become practical, repeatable processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee security operations centre (SOC) activities, threat monitoring, alert triage and incident response coordination.
• Manage internal and external penetration‑testing programmes and drive remediation until closure.
• Deploy, operate and fine‑tune security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners and EDR solutions.
• Translate NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001 and other regulatory requirements into concrete IT workflows.
• Lead a team of Cyber Security Analysts, handling performance, development and alignment with operational goals.
• Promote a “Shift‑Left” approach by delegating low‑complexity tasks to first‑line support where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing security operations and incident response in a medium‑to‑large organization.
• Strong understanding of NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001 compliance and audit readiness.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of security analysts.
• Excellent collaboration skills with infrastructure, support and application teams.
