Customer Supply Specialist

About the role

As a Customer Supply Specialist at Methanex, you will act as the central point for coordinating product deliveries and managing inventory for both the company and its customers across Europe. The role blends supply‑chain operations with direct customer interaction, supporting Methanex’s commitment to safe and responsible methanol distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and monitor deliveries in collaboration with transport companies, terminals, third‑party suppliers and customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for Methanex and customer terminals, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Develop and sustain relationships with truck, rail and barge partners, handling contracts and supplier communications.
• Process customer orders from receipt through to execution, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform supply and demand forecasting and allocate product to meet customer requirements.
• Support logistics projects and Responsible Care initiatives, contributing analysis and continuous‑improvement ideas.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field, or a high‑school diploma with relevant transportation or logistics training.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external partners.
