Customer Care Professional – Dutch & English

About the role

As a Customer Care Frontline Officer you will be the friendly voice helping users with insurance questions, claims and service requests in both Dutch and English. The role offers a chance to develop communication, customer service and operational skills within a fast‑growing insurtech scale‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via email and phone in Dutch and English.
• Listen, understand and summarise customer needs, guiding them through procedures and claims.
• Track and log requests, complaints and outstanding actions.
• Translate insurance terminology into clear, customer‑friendly explanations (training provided).
• Support inbound sales conversions by providing product insights.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as payment follow‑up, contract changes, mail handling and CRM updates.

Required profile

• Full proficiency in written and spoken Dutch and English (additional languages a plus).
• Recent graduate with a BA or MA in languages, business or a related field.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in customer support or handling calls is a plus.
• Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with a pragmatic, positive “can‑do” mindset.
