Cost Controller – Branch Mobile Sales & Business Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to join our Daily Banking & Client First tribe, supporting the Branch Mobile Sales & Business Intelligence area. Working three days a week on‑site in Brussels, you will partner with finance, HR and business stakeholders to monitor expenses, forecast costs and drive optimisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Track monthly actual expenses using finance and HR data (FTE, inflow/outflow, direct and ICO expenses).
• Forecast workforce and cost evolution and provide regular updates.
• Prepare and lead recurring DP discussions, consolidating requests and building the narrative.
• Coordinate the annual cost allocation exercise and optimise purchase‑order management.
• Support changes in HR/Finance structures and advise internal stakeholders on cost‑optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Cost Controller, Financial Analyst or Auditor, preferably from a Big‑Four environment.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and translate financial data into clear business stories.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and curiosity.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong advantage.
• Resident of Belgium and able to work on‑site in Brussels three days per week.
