Corporate Information Security Officer (NIS2 Project Manager)

About the role

You will join the Chief Security Office in Brussels and report directly to the Chief Security Officer. The role focuses on driving the organisation’s NIS2 certification and strengthening overall cyber‑security governance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement company‑wide cybersecurity initiatives in close collaboration with IT.
• Draft, maintain and enforce information security policies aligned with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Lead NIS2 compliance activities, defining, executing and monitoring action plans to achieve STIB’s Essential certification.
• Monitor the implementation of security measures protecting data, systems and networks.
• Serve as a point of contact for information‑security issues outside the core IT scope.
• Translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to awareness programmes.
• Support risk identification, assessment and reporting on the organisation’s security posture.

Required profile

• First professional experience or internship (up to 4 years) in cybersecurity, information security or IT.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Strong interest in security governance, policy development and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills and a proactive attitude.
