Content Creator & Social Media Manager

About the role

Collector’s Needle is a documentary‑driven media brand focused on tattoo culture, craftsmanship, art and visual storytelling. We are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to plan, package, publish and optimise our content across digital platforms, working closely with the production team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media content strategy for Instagram, YouTube and other platforms (TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest).
• Create social‑first photo and video assets using an iPhone when needed.
• Identify compelling moments from documentaries, interviews and events and turn them into reels, shorts, teasers, carousels, posts and stories.
• Write engaging captions, titles, hooks and descriptions in English.
• Design visuals, thumbnails and story assets in Canva; Adobe Photoshop is a strong advantage.
• Support YouTube publishing, including metadata, tags and basic SEO.
• Manage posting schedules, platform uploads and publishing workflows.
• Monitor performance, audience behaviour and growth, and report insights.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual standards and publishing discipline.
• Assist with behind‑the‑scenes content, event coverage and on‑set social media needs.

Required profile

• Professional experience in content planning, social media management or digital publishing.
• Strong understanding of platform dynamics, content formats and audience behaviour.
• Ability to create photo and video content with an iPhone.
• Excellent English writing skills for short‑form storytelling.
• Capability to translate documentary material into clear social media formats.
• Good sense of premium brand presentation and visual consistency.
