Construction Manager – Offshore Island Windfarm

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the on‑site execution of an offshore windfarm project on Princess Elisabeth Island. Reporting to the Island Works Manager, you will act as the single point of contact for day‑to‑day construction activities and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of client representatives and project engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Control Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects of the EPC contractor on a risk‑based basis, supported by the HSE officer.
• Oversee quality control of the EPC contractor, collaborating with the QC officer and on‑shore team.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain staffing plans for client representatives.
• Lead hiring, integration and performance monitoring of client reps with support from the Island Works Manager.
• Review method statements, risk analyses and procedures, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
• Serve as the SPOC for TM Edison regarding construction activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in civil construction.
• Experience in offshore environments is a strong plus.
• Engineering degree, ideally civil engineering.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and structured working abilities.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with ACONEX document management.
