Construction Manager

About the role

Group-IPS is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the execution of engineering and architecture projects across Flanders. You will be responsible for delivering investment projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction projects during the execution phase.
• Control the construction budget and handle change orders.
• Review contractors’ schedules and coordinate integrated site planning.
• Ensure on‑site and off‑site activities comply with construction and safety regulations.
• Direct workers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily progress and guarantee milestone achievement.
• Maintain safe working conditions and HSE compliance.
• Prepare internal and external progress reports.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions, and mitigate project risks.
• Guarantee adherence to quality standards and appropriate construction techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of construction management experience, preferably in the Food Industry or Life Sciences.
• Proven experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and MS Project.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
• Willingness to travel within Belgium and occasional international travel.
• Valid driving licence.
