Concept Engineer / Innovation Specialist R&D

About the role

You will combine technical expertise, market insight and creative thinking to shape early‑stage concepts that have real‑world relevance. Working within the System Engineering team, you will help translate application needs into system requirements and guide multidisciplinary research teams from ideas to validated innovation paths.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex problems and define the scope of prototype development projects.
• Identify and engage stakeholders through interviews and workshops to gather needs.
• Decompose stakeholder needs into high‑level system requirements and co‑define system architecture with technical experts.
• Explore market and technology trends to build development roadmaps and identify disruptive opportunities.
• Conduct Voice of the Customer activities, facilitate workshops and synthesize information for concept selection.
• Provide training, coaching and knowledge‑sharing to colleagues and act as an ambassador to other teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, product innovation or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product or innovation development.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary environments and lead workshops.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into technical requirements.
