Community Manager – Learner Outreach & Partnerships

About the role

The Community Manager will lead learner outreach, onboarding and partnership development for the UDAAN project, ensuring inclusive participation of women and marginalized youth and fostering sustainable collaborations with academic and industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outreach initiatives to identify, attract and onboard learners, focusing on inclusive participation of women and marginalized youth.
• Coordinate learner registration, orientation sessions and onboarding processes for training, fellowships and internships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for learners, addressing queries, providing guidance and maintaining consistent engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
• Support learner retention through community‑building activities, regular check‑ins and feedback mechanisms.
• Facilitate communication between learners and program teams to ensure a positive and supportive learning experience.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, community organisations, local governments and industry partners.
• Coordinate with academic institutions and training providers to enable learner referrals, joint activities and pathway development.
• Engage private‑sector partners to secure internships, fellowships and other employment opportunities for learners.
