Communication & Events Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Communication & Events Manager to lead and execute brand activations from concept to completion. Based in Brussels, you will work at the heart of BBP’s visibility, collaborating closely with sales, partners, and external event partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a trade‑marketing strategy to boost brand presence in retail and horeca.
• Design, produce, and manage POS assets and merchandising materials (displays, activations, bar items, apparel, etc.).
• Support the sales team with field needs and maximise activation impact.
• Conduct on‑site visits to identify opportunities, trends, best practices, and benchmark competitors.
• Organise and coordinate external events, including festivals, B2B gatherings, and trade shows such as Brussels Wanderlust and Horeca Expo Ghent.
• Ensure consistency of BBP’s visual identity and flagship products, contributing to visual and copy assets.
• Assist with social‑media content creation, planning, coordination, and support newsletter production.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through budget, deadline, supplier coordination, and post‑project analysis.
• Creative mindset that turns ideas into clear, actionable outcomes.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in the field.
• Strong interest in digital and social media.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and autonomy.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in French and English; Dutch is a major asset.
